there are several types of meditation. the most known is Zen Meditation or transcendental
meditation
this type of meditation is the clearing of one’s mind by becoming aware of one’s surroundings.
i.e. increasing your awareness. to do this you focus on your breathing and the rhythm of it. by slowly inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. however you can do this either way. as long as you do slowly.
the other is called mandala meditation. this meditation is where you focus on a symbol or sigil. as you breathe in and out. you focus and visualize the symbol.
in middle eastern meditation it is the letters of the names of the Divine that are focus on. while in other Paths the name of a god or goddess is used.
then there is pathworking. however i or another will go into details concerning this later.
